Toast to Thursday!

I am ashamed to admit how long it has been since I've posted a fabulous Toast to Thursday cocktail recipe, so I've decided to do one and make it movie themed! If you haven't seen "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" you should. I saw it in theaters and although some of the scenes made me twinge with discomfort it really is a film worth seeing. I have yet to see the original, or read the book but I would like to. I heard the original is better than the new, which is hard to believe!

Here is a quick synopsis:

A discredited journalist (Daniel Craig) and a mysterious computer hacker discover that even the wealthiest families have skeletons in their closets while working to solve the mystery of a 40-year-old murder in this David Fincher-directed remake of the 2009 Swedish thriller of the same name. Inspired by late author Stieg Larsson's successful trilogy of books, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo gets under way as the two leads (Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara) are briefed in the disappearance of Harriet Vanger, whose uncle suspects she may have been killed by a member of their own family. The deeper they dig for the truth, however, the greater the risk of being buried alive by members of the family, who will go to great lengths to keep their secrets tightly sealed. - Jason Buchanan, Rovi

On that note I present to you, a delicious concoction called The Dragon Tattoo!

Here is what you need:

1.5 oz. Skyy Infusions Dragon Fruit
0.5 oz. American Honey Liqueur
1 oz. Peach Nectar
5 Raspberries
1 Sugar Cube
Squeeze of Lemon
Champagne or Sparkling Wine

Muddle ingredients (except sugar cube) and shake over ice. Place sugar cube in the bottom of the glass and strain drink over it. Top with champagne or sparkling wine. Voila! Easy peasy.

Happy Thursday!
