Hello Diary Readers!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was not only fabulous but very busy! On Saturday, Nurse Bestie, her 'Cousin in law' Shellsea and I took a little road trip to beautiful San Diego for:
It was held at Roppongi, a sushi restaurant in downtown La Jolla.
We got to meet up with fellow bloggettes and finally meet the wonderful ladies from the blogs we love in person!... We also enjoyed wine.
(Instagram makes any picture look amazing!)
Us with Kelsey, one of the Socal Blogger hosts and writer of Eat, Drink, Be a Tourist.
Not only did we get to meet new people, eat delicious appetizers and drink wine, I also won these beautiful little cards from Noon Design Shop in one of the raffles!
Today I went over to my friends Kim and Natalie's house to watch pretend to watch the Superbowl game! I stuffed myself with chips and dip, mozzarella sticks, taquitos, pizza, cookies, beer etc. Played and conquered in some beer pong and giggled with good friends. Of course the boys had the T.V. at full volume to tune us out but we didn't care!
Go Giants!
The only reason I like Superbowl (aside from the junk food) is watching the commercials. Although I was not too impressed with any that I saw. I did get a kick out of this M&M's commercial!
We didn't have this beer at the party but after seeing a Superbowl commercial for it, I'm intrigued. I like Bud Light and I LOVE platinum so this could be my new fave brewsky. I'll have to try it and let you know how it is. The only beef I have with it is the bottle. The blue glass is pretty but NOT recyclable. Shame on you Anheuser-Busch.
All in all it was a pretty wonderful weekend!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteOMG I really loved the M & M commercial. It was one of the only ones I really enjoyed. Those M & M guys are great actors. I can't believe they're doing nudes now. Shocking. Hope you had a great time this weekend. It was my first ever blog event...new gal in town. Hope you can come visit....becky@reinventingtheordinary.com
