TGIF!

I am sooo glad it's Friday! Today I am heading to Arizona with my dearest friends to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. Bestie Stress Case (new name for her to come) and her Ginger Hubby have graciously opened up their cabin for all of us to enjoy. We plan to hang out by the river, soak in the very Hot Arizona sun and of course celebrate the independence of our great country!

I, like my mother tend to overdo everything. Holidays at my house are always fabulously over the top, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Of course when planning for this weekend adventure, I happily put myself in charge of the baked goods. Now, I wasn't sure how cupcakes would hold up in a 4 hour car ride in hot weather so I whipped something together that was quick but still festive. I have to say, I think the turned out pretty cute, lets just hope they don't melt on our journey there!
